Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support manages the aviation, land and maritime supply chains for DLA. Operating out of two locations – Defense Supply Center Columbus in Ohio and Defense Supply Center Richmond in Virginia – it is one of the largest suppliers of spare and repair parts that support aviation, land and maritime weapon systems. DLA Weapons Support has more than 7,200 civilian and military personnel at 54 locations worldwide, including: eight DLA Depot Level Reparable detachments, seven Industrial Support Activities, four naval shipyard detachments, an Industrial Plant Equipment site, and multiple smaller activities collocated with Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps customers throughout the United States and overseas. This extended footprint ensures end-to-end demand and supply chain management. DLA Weapons Support is the hosting Command of the DLA Supply Chain Alliance Symposium and Exhibition.
